I recently got one of those fancy all-in-one printer/scanner/copier machines. I think I'm going to have way too much fun doodling and turning them into cool images and whatnot with Illustrator. Can't wait to have more time to play. I did, however, have some time to scan in some of my favorite pages from my art journal. I'll be sharing much more now that I have this new toy.
I'm having some dear friends over tonight for fresh summer rolls and red curry. I'll be revisiting this delicious recipe that I found on A Beautiful Mess. I did make a few modifications to fit my needs: 1) I added extra red curry paste -- 3 tbsp. 2) LOTS of veggies (because I didn't include any meat or tofu: Onions, peppers, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, carrots, zucchini, & broccoli 3) I mixed in the coconut milk while the veggies were halfway cooked, so that they got some of the coconut flavor, as well. For the original recipe, click here.
Oh, and if you missed the post on the summer rolls (and killer sauce), check it out here!
Experiencing the fall again after 5 years has been pretty incredible. I forgot how beautiful this season is.
I've been making some time for creativity. Got to play around in my art journal again after so long! Also, have a giddy little crush on the poetry from this guy (quoted above).
I love live music and have a goal to see at least one live show a month. Luckily, I've exceeded my goals big time over the last 30 days! Photo above is from Ásgeir -- if you don't know about them, listen to King and Cross. Right now. Seriously.
