While you order your morning coffee or pick up your midday snack, take an extra 5 seconds to notice something great about the person who is helping you out.  Chances are you just might make their day.

We may not feel poetic or creative, but writing is a great way to decompress after (or during) a long day.  If you do use social media, you're welcome to tag your writing location, your words, or even a photo that represents the day you're writing about.  Use "#5daysof journaling".

This is the week to push ourselves outside of our daily routine.  During this challenge you will do something you've never done before. Now, don't start booking your skydiving adventure (unless you want to), because this can be as simple or as extreme as you'd like.  Try a new food.  Take a different route to work.  Speak in an accent all day!  Do whatever you can to make each day even more unique than the last.  If you do use social media, be sure to use #5daysof!

Most of us take pictures often and post to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media sites.  This 5 day challenge involves taking one photo a day, but not just any photo.  Take a photo that captures the essence of that day, something beautiful you hadn't noticed before, something that will help you look back on that day with vivid detail.  I challenge you to find beauty in your every day.  If you do use social media, be sure to use #5daysofphotos!
